SRINAGAR — A day after resigning from the National Conference, Devinder Singh Rana and Surjit Singh Slathia on Monday joined the Bharatiya Janta Party at its New Delhi headquarters.
Rana and Slathia joined the saffron party in presence of three union ministers — Dharmendra Pradhan, Hardeep Singh Puri and Jitendra Singh.
Senior leaders of BJP’s J&K unit including its head Ravinder Raina were also present on the occasion.
Rana and Slathia had resigned from NC on Sunday, a move seen as a setback to the regional party in Jammu division.
