SRINAGAR — The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday raided two locations in Anantnag district and arrested three allegedly accused persons in the ISIS Voice of Hind case, sources said.
Sleuths of NIA along with the Jammu and Kashmir Police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel raided the residence of one Aqib Ahmed Sofi alias Nadim and Muhammad Arif Sofi, sons of Ghulam Nabi Sofi, a resident of Sofi Mohalla Achabal.
During the raid, both of them were arrested for questioning.
In another raid at a shop identified as Geographic Printing Press opposite Boys Hostel of GMC Ganjiwara, the NIA team arrested one Aarif Hussain Qadri, son of Peerzada Tahir, a resident of Khaja Mir Ali Sahib, Cheeni Chowk Anantnag.
During the raid, one laptop and some documents were seized.
Pertinently, the NIA has said they raided multiple locations on Monday in Kashmir valley in a case related to the ISIS Voice of Hind case in connection with the conspiracy of the proscribed militant organization ISIS to radicalize and recruit impressionable youth in India.
