SRINAGAR — The Inspector-General of Police for Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar, on Wednesday asked doctors and paramedics in the valley to inform the higher-ups in police in case police stops them unnecessarily while on their way to duty.
Kumar told KNO that doctors and paramedical staff should inform them, along with their location, on the given helpline numbers if they have been stopped unnecessarily along on their way to their places of duty.
The helpline numbers are 0194-2506561, 0194-2506541 and a WhatsApp number 8899845182.
The IGP also requested the healthcare workers to cooperate with the law enforcement agencies and not to visit unnecessarily beyond their place of duty and stay. (KNO)
