SOPORE — A Cordon-and-search-operation was launched by government forces in a Sopore village of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district after inputs about the presence of militants.
Quoting unnamed sources, KNT reported that paramilitary troopers from 179 Battalion, army from 22 Rashtriya Rifles and Special Operation Group personnel (SOG) cordoned off Natipora village of Sopore.
Door-to-door searches were going on in the village.
The search operation was underway till the filing of this report. (KNT)
