SRINAGAR — A rusted grenade and 191 bullets were claimed to have been recovered by police and CRPF from a nallah last night in Samba district of Jammu division.
Quoting unnamed official sources, GNS reported that the recovery was made by CRPF’s 38 Batallion along with Jammu and Kashmir police during searches launched in Kheedian village of Bari Brahmanna area of Samba district.
“The recovered arms include a hand grenade, 191 rounds of 303-rifle besides 20 charger clips, all in rusted form”, the official added.
A case under relevant sections is being taken up for further investigations, he added. (GNS)
