Grenade attack on police post in Sopore, two injured

A grenade was lobbed by suspected militants on a police post in north Kashmir’s Sopore district on Saturday evening.

Police said that militants attacked the police post near bus stand.

Two civilians were injured in the incident. They have been identified as Bilal Ahmad and Shabir Ahmad — both residents of Sopore.

They have been shifted to Sub District Hospital Sopore where the condition of both is said to be stable.

Meanwhile, forces have cordoned off the area to nab the attackers.
