Srinagar: National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday questioned People’s Democratic Party’s youth leader Waheed ur Rehman Para in connection with the DSP Davinder Singh and Hizbul Mujahideen commander Naveed Babu’s arrest case, in New Delhi.
Para will be questioned for the second consecutive day tomorrow as well.
A top NIA official from New Delhi railway told Kashmir News Observer (KNO) over the phone that the PDP youth leader was questioned on Monday for the entire day in the agency’s office in New Delhi.
“He has been asked to report to NIA headquarters Delhi for the second consecutive day tomorrow where he will be questioned,” the official said.
Earlier in January this year, DSP Davinder Singh, Hizbul Mujahideen commander Naveed Babu and a lawyer were arrested while travelling in a vehicle from Srinagar to Jammu.
On June 19, the suspended DSP managed to get bail. However, the NIA stated that it was investigating another case against DSP Singh. KNO
