Grenade attack in Anantnag’s Lal Chowk, one CRPF trooper injured

Srinagar: Suspected militants lobbed a grenade on government forces on Wednesday evening in Lal chowk area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

A senior police officer told Global News Service that militants lobbed a grenade on a CRPF party. In the incident, one CRPF personnel received splinter injuries who was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
