Anantnag: A COVID-19 infected girl from Bangladesh has gone missing from a quarantine centre in Akura area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Sources told Kashmir News Trust that 18-year-old Chandni, daughter of Muhammad Younis Mian, had been brought to a hospital by Child Welfare Committee and had been quarantined at Akura Anantnag after testing positive for the virus therefrom he has gone missing.
Block Medical Officer Mattan, Dr Saleem, has written a letter vide number 1227-31 dated 26-8-2020 informing about the missing girl.
Dr Saleem confirmed that the said girl is missing and a report in this regard has been lodged at the police station. KNT
