PRC holders and migrants now to get domicile certificates in 5 days only

The Jammu and Kashmir Government has reduced the time limit for issuing domicile certificates to Permanent Residence Certificate holders and migrants to 5 working days.

This was announced through a tweet by Department of Information and Public Relations on Monday evening. However, an official order in this regard is awaited.

Earlier, the same process needed 15 working days. The tweet said that this will make the process “extremely simple”.
