BSF Trooper commits suicide in Kupwara

Kupwara: A Border Security Force (BSF) trooper commits suicide by firing himself from his own service rifle in Kupwara district .

Official sources told GNS that the trooper posted at Brinwari shoot himself with his own service rifle and died on spot.

Slain was identified as Kundan Ram, head constable of 169bn.

A police officer told GNS that it was not immediately known as to why the trooper took the extreme step. He said investigations are underway in this regard. GNS
